Stretch Glass Society Governance and Leadership
The Stretch Glass Society was established as a not-for-profit entity on April 21, 1974.  The Society is recognized as a tax-exempt organization, but not a charity, by the Internal Revenue Service.  A Constitution and By-Laws, adopted by and amended from time to time by the membership, govern the operations of the Society.  The Constitution and By-Laws are available in the members only section of this website. The governance of the Society is vested in a Board of Directors consisting of a President, a Vice President, a Secretary, a Treasurer and not less than three or more than seven Directors.  All Officers and Directors are elected for 2-year terms.

Are you a member of the Stretch Glass Society and interested in what your Board of Directors and Leadership Team are doing to achieve the goals of OUR Society?  Now you are able to find out easily and quickly with just a couple of clicks in the Members Only Resources section of our website.

Each year the SGS Board of Directors establishes prioritites and goals and forms Actions Teams led by memebers of the Board of Directors to accomplilsh those priorities and goals.  We have provided the 2014 - 15 and 2015 - 16 KEY PRIORITIES AND ACTION TEAMS documents to provide you with insight into what we are doing and who is leading our efforts on YOUR behalf.  As updates become available, we will be posting those as well.
Would YOU like to get INVOLVED?  We welcome YOUR PARTICIPATION in any of our Action Teams.  Most Action Teams function virtually throughout the year, “meeting” via periodic phone calls and exchanging ideas and updates via email.  Please contact us at or call the leader of the Action Team in which you are interested in participating and we will make sure you are included in future meeting calls, discussions and emails.
